For the opening of Disneyland on this date in 1955, we have the beautiful Disneyland rose. This rose is registered under the name "JACmouse." The beautiful Disneyland Rose magically blooms from an apricot orange into a vibrant pink and has a mild fragrance. The search for a rose unique and beautiful enough to be named for the Disneyland park began in 2001. The Disneyland Resort Horticulture team conducted the search, visiting rose field trials and viewing hundreds of floribunda roses, looking for a unique color and hardy landscaping rose. The Disneyland Rose is planted near the entrance to Disneyland park near the Main Gate turnstiles, as well as several other areas in the park.
